How far in advance should we book you?

Secure your special moments with our photography services. Book early to ensure availability on your desired date, as we often book up to 6-12 months in advance. Contact us as soon as you have your wedding or event date set and let our team help plan and capture your beautiful memories.

How do I Book with Abaunza Photography

Book your photoshoot, video, or surprise proposal online with ease. Our online booking system allows you to select your date, time, and package. Need assistance? Contact our customer service team. For custom event planning and wedding photography/videography, please contact us with your event details and preferred date. We strive to make planning easy and enjoyable.

Booking Process

We make it easy for you to schedule your shoot by offering an intuitive online booking system that is available 24/7. With our system, you can reserve your photoshoot, wedding, or event with zero back and forth, and with the convenience of being able to use all major credit/debit cards.

For Photoshoots, from 30 minutes - 2 hours, we require a full payment of your package fee to secure your date and time, ensuring that your spot is reserved just for you.

For Weddings & Events, we require a secure retainer of 50% to reserve your preferred date, starting time(s). Once your reservation is confirmed, we'll provide you with an invoice and signed contract for your convenience. You'll also receive the contact information of your photographer or videographer.

hat are your rates and availability for my preferred date(s)?

* Photoshoots:
We understand the importance of capturing your special moments, which is why we make it easy for you to check availability and pricing by providing an intuitive online booking system. You can quickly check for availability and pricing for photoshoots, starting at only $250usd per 30 minutes, and varying depending on your choice of photography package.

** Popular time-slots—sunrise, the Blue Hour, and holidays—book out quickly.

* Weddings:
For more elaborate events such as weddings, custom marriage proposal planning, and destination packages, we recommend setting up a complimentary consultation with our sales department. This way, we can better understand your needs and tailor our services to meet them. If you prefer to reach out to us via our contact form, please provide us with your preferred date(s), starting time, the amount of photography/video coverage required, and any initial shoot ideas you may have. The more detail you provide, the better we can assist you in creating the perfect memories.

* Note:

* Our weddings' collections are available at a range of pricing options, with a minimum of $800 and a maximum of $5350.

In order to provide you with an exceptional and personalized experience, we kindly request the following information:

How many photos do I get? Can I have them all?

The number of edited images you receive depends on the photography package you choose. More coverage means more images. For weddings and events, you can add an a Second Photographer option to get more images from all angles. You'll receive the best images that the package you selected included; hand-picked and curated for our editing team. You can also purchase all unedited, high-resolution images after your photoshoot. All edited images are high-resolution, watermark-free, and printable on various materials. You can download and print them at a local lab.

What if I arrive late for my photoshoot?

We understand that life can be unpredictable and that Miami can be a busy city, especially when you're on vacation. However, just as we ensure that our photographers arrive on time for your photoshoot, we kindly ask that you also be punctual. With multiple shoots scheduled per day, it's important for us to ensure that our artists are available, well-rested, and prepared for their next booking.

We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, however, to ensure that we can accommodate all of our clients, we have a 15-minute grace period from the official starting time of your photoshoot. In the event that you arrive later than the agreed-upon time, we will not extend coverage complimentary. We value your time and our time and we want to ensure that we can provide the best service to you.

What if is rains?

We understand that nature can be unpredictable and that the weather can sometimes be out of our control. However, we want to assure you that we will always do our best to work around any unexpected rain or inclement weather. We will adapt your itinerary and, subject to availability, even accommodate a date or time-switch to ensure that your photographic experience is not affected.

As one of the busiest studios in Miami, we are committed to providing you with the best service possible. However, during peak seasons and holidays, we cannot guarantee the opportunity to reschedule. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.

What is your cancellation policy?

It’s sometimes just not possible to keep your appointment despite the best intentions.

We’ve seen it all from airport disruptions and canceled flights to visa issues, strikes, health, pregnancy, job conflicts, and a host of other challenges.

As the premier Miami photography studio, we want you to book with confidence and offer an unparalleled cancellation policy.

Here’s our CANCELLATION GUARANTEE:

all Miami-based photo sessions (excluding weddings and proposal planning) come with an unconditional 100%, no questions asked, cancellation guarantee up to 7 days before the scheduled start of your photo/video shoot

* if you cancel within 7 days from the scheduled start of your shoot, 100% of the deposit becomes a non-refundable retainer.

* if you do not show up for your scheduled shoot and assuming you did not cancel in writing 7 days in advance 100% of the deposit becomes a non-refundable retainer.

* However, we will always help you reschedule (when possible) and, otherwise, provide a 1-year credit towards a future visit to Miami.

How does your money-back Guarranty work?

Our promise is simple: if you’re not happy with your experience or photos, we did not do a good job and don’t want your money. We encourage you not to delay and contact us at once for a full refund. Please note 3 important points:

* All photographs in your proofing gallery will remain watermarked until you ask us to edit your favorite pictures. Once we start editing your photos, a refund is no longer available.

* No refund is possible once you download any photos from your proofing gallery.

* Our refund policy exclusively applies to Miami-based photoshoots. Proposal & wedding planning, event photography (weddings, corporate parties, etc.), and shoots outside of Miami are strictly excluded from a partial or full refund.

What are my editing options?

Our goal is to edit your photos the same way you see them on our website and social media.

We invest substantial time and effort to make your pictures look stunning.

Unlike other local studios that merely apply preset filters across images at the click of a button, we custom-edit each of your photographs individually with love.

** The Classic Edit (which comes standard with every photography package):
* adjust exposure, sharpness, * contrast, and highlights;
* crop for beautiful composition;
* remove blemishes, scars, moles,
and possibly even stains from your outfits whenever it’s not too time-consuming;
* horizontal and vertical rotation to ensure geometrical elements
* enhance color and vibrancy;
* smooth skin (optional);

** Upgrade to our Premium Edit:
everything from the Classic Edit; and
remove wallets, phones, and outfit indentations from your pockets as well as possible;
smooth or reshape wrinkles in your outfits, including shirts, jackets, gowns, and pants,
remove distracting elements, including other people, trash, etc.) whenever readily possible.

** Upgrade to our Artistic Edit:
* everything from the Premium Edit; and
* add a more flattering sky or otherwise fundamentally alter the original image;
* clone a body part, such as the eyes, from one of your photos to a similar photo (this is desirable when you love a shot, but one of you has her eyes shut)

I misplaced my Miami photos. Can you re-send them to me?

We understand the importance of preserving your precious memories. That's why we highly recommend that you download your edited photos as soon as possible, and make multiple copies both online and offline (on hard-drives or USBs).

While we understand that life can get in the way, it's important to note that we contractually only guarantee to keep your pictures for one calendar year after they were delivered to you. However, we do archive almost all shoots, so chances are we still have your memories. But retrieving them from our archives takes time and effort, and for that reason, we charge a fee of $150usd if it’s been more than one year since we delivered your edited photos to you.

To ensure that your memories are safe, we highly recommend that you download and make multiple copies of your photos as soon as possible. This way you'll have them for a lifetime to cherish.
